What is covered by the lifetime frame guarantee?

Every Zofa sofa frame comes with a lifetime structural guarantee.

This covers the internal frame for as long as you own the sofa and it remains at its original delivery address. It provides long-term reassurance that the main structure of your sofa has been made to last.

The frame guarantee is specifically there to protect the sofa’s internal structure. Accidental damage, stains and other everyday mishaps are covered separately through Furniture Protection.

What is covered by the 10-year seat cushion guarantee?

Every Zofa sofa also comes with a 10-year structural guarantee against collapse on its Zoflex™ seat cushions.

Zoflex™ technology was developed to solve one of the most common frustrations with sofa ownership: cushions that quickly lose their support and need constant plumping.

Rather than being cut from a larger block of foam, each Zoflex™ seat cushion is precision-moulded to fit the shape of the sofa. It is then finished with a soft fibre wrap, creating the inviting, sink-in feeling you want from a comfortable sofa while helping the cushion retain its structure.

The result is lasting comfort with less daily maintenance, backed by a guarantee that protects each seat cushion against structural collapse for 10 years.

What is Furniture Protection?

Guarantees and Furniture Protection do different jobs.

The frame and seat cushion guarantees cover specific structural parts of your sofa. Furniture Protection is designed to help when something unexpected happens during everyday life.

Every new Zofa sofa now includes three years of Furniture Protection, as standard. You also have the option to extend this protection to five years.

There is no need to decide whether a basic level of protection is worth adding. It is already included, giving you reassurance from the moment your sofa arrives.

What does Furniture Protection cover?

Furniture Protection is designed to cover many of the sudden accidents and mishaps that are not included within a manufacturer’s guarantee.

Accidental damage

Cover includes accidental rips, tears and burns, as well as damage caused by pets and other unexpected everyday accidents.

Accidental stains

Sudden stains caused by food, drinks, ink, makeup and other spills are included.

Structural faults

The policy can also cover certain structural faults that are not covered by Zofa’s guarantees.

Does Furniture Protection cover pet damage?

Yes. Accidental damage caused by pets is included within the cover, subject to the full policy terms.

That could include incidents such as accidental rips, tears or scratches. It means you can choose the sofa and fabric you love with a little more reassurance about the realities of sharing your home with four-legged family members.

What is not covered?

Furniture Protection is there for sudden and unexpected incidents rather than the natural ageing of your sofa.

It does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, accidental loss or cosmetic-only damage that does not affect how the furniture can be used. Problems that are already covered by another insurance policy or by one of Zofa’s manufacturer guarantees are also excluded.

How do the guarantees and Furniture Protection work together?
